Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia. Got most of my art education there. I come from a fine art background, but really enjoyed the many years I’ve worked in the game industry, and hope to continue doing so for years to come. I started my career at Humongous Entertainment; following that I’ve done lots of odd jobs here and there, including graphic design and animation for a number of clients and stage production art for a critically acclaimed play/show A Day In Dig Nation. Eventually ended up at Monolith (later WB Games) where I spent over seven years. I have a lot of admiration and respect for the creative process involved in making games and the people behind it, and my goal is to continue contributing to that with the best work I can offer.
Below you’ll find some of my work. It is not a focused professional portfolio, but rather a diverse collection of my art of different styles and media that I thought a variety of people would enjoy. Even with game artists, the most value is in the word ”artist” and the creative ideas and flexibility that come with it. Perhaps you will find a piece or two that appeal to your personally, and if you do, my work here is done.

In the seven and a half years at the company I have worked on a range of game types: MMOs, first person shooters, third person action RPGs, each with their own unique environments, and created a vast library of assets – from tiny props to big ticket “hero” items, entire environments and skybox vistas. No job was too small or too big. I have done a substantial amount of my own concept art, either to illustrate ideas or for tasks I worked on that could not get enough support from the concept art team. In addition to that I have worked on lighting, FX, animation, physics simulations, and anything else I could get my hands on.
Frequently I was the go-to guy when someone needed feedback or had questions about the tech or anything at all. I have worked with many leads, but I am no stranger to being in the position of leadership myself.
I gladly came to help out other teams when they needed manpower, and as a result I have experience working across three companies with a huge number of people of all disciplines, using different technologies and toolsets.
